SHINING NIKKI | Mandatory Update FAQ

Dear Stylists,

Shining Nikki will have a mandatory update on March 17, so Stylists will need to go to the APP store to update the game. To help solve the problems in the mandatory update quicker, please read the Q & A below. If you have other issues, please contact our Customer Service.



Q: When will the newest APK be released?

A: We will release the latest game package in each APP store (Apple App Store, Google Play, Taptap) during the maintenance period. There may be delays in different regions, please pay attention to the app store or in-game notices, and go to the app store page to download.



Q: Why can't I use the old game package after the maintenance?

A: This update is a mandatory update, stylists need to go to the app store to update the newest APP to experience the new version of the game. We recommend that stylists click [update] in the APP store directly to get the newest version.
If the update fails repeatedly or the phone capacity is not enough, please try to uninstall the old version and then download and install the new version again (Please be awarded that if you choose this update method, you need to re-enter your account when you log in to the game for the first time, please make sure to remember your previous login information).
*If you used a guest account before, you can continue to choose the guest account as long as you have not changed your device, and the data will be stored in your device automatically.



Q: Why am I directed to clear the cache resources when I first enter the game after installing the new package?

A: The old resources are not compatible with the new recourses of the new installation package. Therefore, stylists need to re-download the resources after entering the game. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this issue and appreciate your kind understanding.



Q: Why does my game get crashed after downloading the new package?

A: The latest game version needs to be installed on devices with Android 5.0 or above,  iOS 10.0 or above, please make sure your system meets the new version system requirement. If you find other issues, please contact our Customer Service, we will try our best to help.



Q: I finished downloading all the in-game resources before, why do I still need to download them again after this update?

A: The old resources are not compatible with the new resources of the new installation package. Therefore, stylists need to re-download the resources after entering the game. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this issue and appreciate your kind understanding.



Q: Why doesn't my character exist/Why is my character missing after entering my account?

A: Please contact our Customer Service and provide your nickname, server, and other information about your account, we will help to check and solve the problem.
